Ten years across three roles, working the same question from different sides. Aircrew operations and TTP development in the Air Force, threat analysis and program leadership at the FBI, and supply chain risk analysis for missile defense now.

   Data Analyst, Red Team

   Red team technical data analyst supporting missile defense cross-portfolio supply chain risk management. Illuminates, analyzes, and mitigates risk findings to drive SES and 4-star level decisions on supply chain resilience measures.

   Maps how adversaries reach into the systems built to defend against them, tracing foreign ownership, sole-source dependency and concentration risk down through the supplier tiers many program offices have limited visibility into. After analysis, the other half is translation: turning a tangle of corporate and geopolitical exposure data into recommendations the senior-most levels of government can act on.

2. Apr 2022 to May 2026

   VTG, supporting the FBI

   Huntsville, AL

   Team Lead, Analyst III

   Team lead and Analyst III in one of the FBI's largest units, enabling regular threat reporting in support of counterterrorism, counterproliferation, cyber, and counterintelligence operations.

   Four years in which the job widened from enabling the nation's most pressing threat collection to building the conditions other people produce it in: supporting hiring decisions and promotion boards across an 80+ person contract, briefing executives and field agents, and helping steer a technical engineering team modernizing the full stack of a critical high-side system in use at all 56 field offices and headquarters. A lesson that stuck is that analytic failures are often organizational before they are analytic.

3. Apr 2016 to Apr 2022

   United States Air Force

   Travis AFB, CA

   Instructor In-Flight Refueling Operator

   Instructor in-flight refueling operator on the KC-10A, 1,900+ flight hours including 1,000+ in combat, running qualification and instructor upgrade programs for every KC-10 boom operator on the West Coast.

   Six years flying the mission and then teaching it, with additional responsibilities in unit acquisitions, executive support, and mission and exercise planning and execution. Everything since started here: analyzing adversary capability during large scale joint exercises and turning it into tactics aircrew could actually fly in a contested environment.
